This bright yellow perennial lily has a small corm up to 15 mm long just below the surface of the soil. It can carry up to 8 inflorescences and may have up to 9 flowers per inflorescence. It can attain a height of about 35 cm. I found a clump of about 100 plants growing in the reserve right on the corner of Fort Road and Cliveden Avenue. (December 2007)
