A species to be found on the northern side of the reserve above the Brisbane River is Lepidosperma laterale. Here it can be found in small dense clumps. The leaves are flattened and it bears terminal inflorescences. No bushcare work has been undertaken in this area and trailing stems of cat’s claw can been seen in the photo below. (January 2012)
