This is a Brisbane CIty Council Class R Pest 

This is a perennial vine which bears clusters of mauve flowers with yellow stamens in the centre. The fruit when ripe are bright red berries up to 10mm in diameter. All parts of the plant are poisonous. It can be controlled with Glyphosate or by hand weeding. (January 2007)
